Barno is a dedicated and enthusiastic piano teacher with a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance & Pedagogy and over ten years of teaching experience. Her teaching studio is conveniently located in Johns Creek.

Meet the Teacher
Barno Nishanova is a professional pianist with nearly 20 years of playing under her belt. She received training from concert pianists Barno Akhmedjanova, Adiba Sharipova and Victor Ginzburg. Barno grew up with a love for music and began playing piano at an early age.She entered conservatory and has placed in regional and international competitions. Barno graduated from the Tashkent State Conservatory with a degree in Piano Performance and Vocal Performance.
Though Barno has completed her degree, she maintains constant growth and attends many professional conferences. She is a member of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Yearly she attends the Georgia Music Educators Association Conference, Barno is also a winner of the International Youth Chopin competition and several Jazz competitions.
Nowadays you can find Barno teaching music for the King David Academy, teaching piano lessons for her studio or performing around the world with her husband, world renowned violinist, Nadir Khashimov.
Barno's deepest love is for music and teaching and is passionate about the importance of music education in children's lives.
